Hitting Leagues

WHAT IS A HITTING LEAGUE?

~ 4 players per team (Unlimited roster, but only 4 can play in a game)
~ 8 game schedule / 6 week league / Play double headers twice in the 6 weeks.
~ 50 minute time limit (No "inning" starts after time limit has expired)
~ All hitters wil hit off an ATEC pitching machine, or you can provide your own pitcher.
  Speed of the pitch will be appropriate to age if using the pitching machine.
~ All hitters will hit each inning. 5 pitches per player. Games typically last 6 or 7           innings.
~ Points are scored by each player depending on where the ball is hit
~ Numbered banners will be placed inside the hitting cage. Hitters try to hit the                  banners with the most points. The team with the most points at the end of the game
  is the winner.
~ PRIZES FOR 1ST AND 2ND PLACE TEAMS IN EACH AGE BRACKET
  (Gag prizes for last place teams)

~ Great way to have some fun, stay competitive, and work on your swing
~ Get a group of friends, or just sign-up and be assigned an open team

AGE BRACKETS

~ 9 and under
~ 12 and under
~ 13+
Although age is not that critical for success in this league, we still want to implement a "play up" rule. You may play up into an older bracket, but you may not play down in a younger bracket.

COST?
~$160 per team or $40 per person if signing up as an individual
Prizes for 1st and 2nd place teams in each age bracket. Gag prizes for last place teams!!!

HOW DO I SIGNUP?
~ Call 764-9175 to reserve your team spot. Half payment required to reserve a spot.
  Remaining half due before the first game. Ask us about the Parent/Sibling leagues
